So I was looking around on digitalpoint and I came across this thread in the ‘freebies’ section and I looked at the thread title and it said: “Earn $.05 thru paypal”, I was like thinking to myself, this can’t be right, he must be meaning $5, however knowing it was digitalpoint, I knew almost after reviewing the thread that he was giving away $0.05 USD away. I haven’t actually replied to that thread, but I really thought it was funny… (I have a odd sense of humour)

I find it hilarious that the thread is so popular, I’m even thinking of creating my own $.05 thread to get people posting on my forum or blog… but damn $.05! That is seriously killing me! Here is the screenshot of the original post:
This has taught me a lesson, anyone will do anything for money, even if it is that low.

I noticed the thread is locked now. I don’t blame the guy for making the offer, but what shocked me is how many people took the bait. How hard up can you to to scramble over a nickel?
That’s what I mean! How hard is it? It’s $0.05 USD, lets convert that to GBP = 0.02 GBP. I mean seriously you can find 2pence on the floor in my country (UK) and that amount of money is just obsurd! I wonder what that guy is offering that catches so many peoples eye?
