The clogged up domain world! October 2, 2007

The domain world today and previous remains very open. However one main factor contends to people buying domain names and not using them, hoping to use them as an investment. Today I was looking for a domain so I could review various and different web hosts. I was looking, looking and looking and all I could find was domains that had been registered but had not been used in like a year or so, yet they had been renewed. This is not new, news however I thought I’d bring the subject out, seeing as I find it very annoying.
I mean you find a perfect domain name, to create your website, yet when it comes to purchasing it, it’s ‘frigging’ taken! And why is it taken? Because people invest in literally billions of domains. In every domain I purchase, I try and make a website off of it. However sometimes you want a good domain which will pick up good traffic. But don’t you just hate with all your guts when you find a good domain and you find it’s taken. - This is the issue with most of the domains I purchase.
I managed to actually find a domain worth purchasing, however it wasn’t the domain I originally wanted. I wish that people who bought domains would use it, instead of parking them on stupid pages, which have no purpose.
