Nero was born in on the 15 December AD 37; in the City of Anzio 33 miles south of Rome. Nero’s Birth name was Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus. His name was changed because Claudius Nero Germanicus had adopted him. Claudius was Roman Emperor as well as a successful one. Nero’s Mother was Agrippina she was a second wife of Claudius Nero Germanicus. Apgrippina was very well respected in the decisions she made, if there was discretion or a problematic thing she would search every corner for an option or probability. But when Apgripinna and Nero’s new idea conflicted, Nero had only one choice to plot against his own Mother. Nero became the successor (Emperor) from his stepfather in 62 A.D; his mother Apgrippina was Dead as Nero had her murdered in 59 A.D. Then Nero married a person called Poppaea, then in 63 A.D Nero’s wife “Poppaea” had a baby; the gender being female. Nero himself was thought by himself to be a successful poet; others said he had no talent at-all. Just after the big fire in Rome of 64 A.D, Nero had totally rebuilt Rome out of the money he had stolen out of the other Countries that had been colonized by the Romans for Century’s. In Early June 68 A.D Nero killed himself (he committed suicide). He done this because his own Army and Senate turned against him and he was sentenced to being flogged agreed by the Senate of Rome.

In the year of 64 A.D there was a massive fire that swiftly made it’s way around Rome. The fire started on 18 July, in the year A.D 64 this was a great issue as two thirds of Rome had be burnt to ruins. Nero had to think of an excuse on to why everything had gone this way; as there was suspicion that Nero himself caused this great fire in Rome. What would Nero’s purpose have been if he did really burn all of it down? Nero actually wanted to re-build Rome, so what better way could he have done it. Christianity at the time was very new, and in those days Christianity didn’t pose any threat so the Faith could be easily targeted without any uproar. Christianity was also hated in those Roman times, so Nero used the excuse of blaming the great massive fire on the Christians. So once this blame went on the Christians Nero persecuted the Christians.
