Dedicated Server December 30, 2006

This will be a little present for Fred (Vamp), this dedicated server is going to be managed by a tech, he will perform upgrades such as php, apache, cpanel/whm etc. And ‘anything’ we request. Currently, our reseller customers are bogged down with PHP4 and they have cPanel 10 installed! PLUS this tech will install ‘anything’ we want! The server specs are as follows:
Dedicated Sever Alpha

Intel P4 2.4 Ghz
80GB SATA Hard Drive
1,024 MB Memory
CPanel WHM/Fantastico w/ RvSkins Included
Full Setup and Security Hardening Included
IP Addresses: 8 (5 usable)
Bandwidth: 1,500 GB Tier 1I’m hoping that Vamp, agree’s to switch the resellers to this dedicated server. Reasons are below:
They can get anything installed!

and much more…
Instead our resellers customers who are paying, are not getting things done when requesting for any upgrades. I may turn the server into a VPS server, if Vamp doesn’t want to move our resellers over. Then we can offer VPS solutions. - Of course, I’d first have to see what it involves.
But I really want this to be a suprize for Vamp, so Vamp if you happen to see this page, please close your browser 
I can’t wait to get this dedicated server. I’ve got a great deal on the server, so everything should be set. All I have to do now, is wait for the 14th to come up.
The server is from this person who knows a hell of a lot about machines and Os’

I’ve got a VPS myself, but it’s not as good as that dedicated server you’re getting. I wish you luck with it, and you’re lucky that the server is managed, or you would have a lot on your hands. Running a VPS is quite easy, becuase you got the softwares installed right infront of you.
I may be upgrading my VPS to a full blown dedi, but I’ll prolly wait until my VPS screws up becuase of to much resource being hardened on it.

Seems, I do not have much luck.
The server is on a special and is not being sold on the 14th, or on January for that matter. The person said he’s got more specials coming up for January, but he doesn’t know if they’ll be as good as the specials which were for Christmas.
But oh well!! I’ll look pass this, if I can another dedicated server as cheap as this offer.
He said the January offers might not come with “CPanel WHM/Fantastico w/ RvSkins Included”, so I’ll have to lease a WHM/Fantastico License.
I guess I’ll have to wait another time!
UPDATE:
The person has made some sort of an arrangement with me.
I hope I can get it!
I’m going to lease this server sooner than expected.
Tuesday to be exact
Hopefully, he’ll be able to give me this server; because it’s a ‘real’ bargain!
I’ve already made an offer for some one to test it out.

Another update:
I cannot seem to access the techs site, hmm, maybe it’s just me, oh well, I’m still purchasing this dedicated server of him seeing as he’s already ordered this server.
Good news:
He’s ordering the server on Sunday, which has already passed in my time zone, so I’m wondering if he has deployed the server to be ready for me.
I hope he has.
