Urgh. So I’m having problems transferring the VlexoFree websites to the new dedicated server because the old VPS keeps crashing. I’ve transferred like 50% of the websites on the VlexoFree ‘old’ server however there is a considerably sized amount left which needs to be transferred. I’m thinking I might have to do this manually or via SSH which one of the guys at WiredTree taught me. Though I’m getting quite annoyed and this is the error I’m getting while trying to transfer accounts over:
Grabbing mysql dbs……../usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at ‘localhost’ failederror: ‘Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’ (11)’Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’ exists!
And with that error above, I cannot transfer accounts over and the transfer just ‘fails’. - So what can I do? As said I might have to do things manually or get my server management company to fix it for me…, but really, it’s so damn annoying finding out you can’t transfer your accounts over because of a problem like this. Though Logan, who is back at Vlexo.com might be able to fix this, so I may ask him if he is active. 
Hopefully this transfer will be over by the end of today or this morning.

So I said in my last post about Bidvertiser, stating that I’d make a post if Bidvertiser would pay; and over a certain amount of time, they have actually paid! I was actually quite amazed, in my right mind I believed they WOULD NOT pay, as all the reviews I’ve read were mostly bad about them. - But I can tell you for sure now, they are pretty damn good. No questions asked, they gave me the money for the legal clicks which came from one of my forums and my hosting service. Sure it’s not much, however for the amount of clicks I had, it wasn’t bad at-all!
As you can see the above is proof they paid me, - I was going to provide PayPal screenshots, however I believe that is a little over the top. So if you have been banned by the major advertisement/publisher groups, I suggest you give Bidvertiser a go! They paid me and I’m happy with the service they have provided me. I cannot account for the masses of reviews which go against Bidvertiser, however my review is that Bidvertiser isn’t as bad as some people think; I believe they are pretty decent… as I did get my money? - Yes.

Inactivity on the web April 26, 2008

So I’ve been quite inactive on the Internet, and I’ve made a come back however due to some personal reasons, I won’t mention why I’ve been inactive on the Internet. I’m adding some stuff to Vlexo.com and getting rid of a lot of stuff, however I’m also updating vBulletin… (Hopefully the update will go well) - The vBulletin update, looks pretty interesting and I haven’t done one in quite a while. There are a heck of a load of files in vBulletin, and it’s taking quite sometime uploading them.
Since, I’ve come back to the Internet, I’ve found out that Logan has come back, he has got to be the smartest kid ever when it comes to computers. He must be like 14-15 or something however it’s just amazing what he knows about linux and computers in general. - I remember when he was staff at Vlexo in 2007, he could install anything and would know how to fix anything wrong with the server that we had. You don’t get many people at that age online, who could know how to do all that.
That’s my blogging for today!
